“My husband doesn’t like Thai food and he loved this place. Khao soi is totally worth it and so is the mango sticky…”

“Selection is not very wide. Great vibes. Try the ice tea, very aromatic.”

Bangkok's energy, the countryside's flavours

About us

Bangkok's energy, the countryside's flavours

We draw from regional Thai cooking across the country, bold and restrained, spicy and savoury, and cook it our own way. The Massaman butter and the rice noodles in the pad kee mao are made in house.

Questions we hear a lot

Is this traditional Thai food?

No. We take regional Thai flavours and cook them our own way, a modern take rather than a traditional one.

Can you make dishes mild?

Ask us and we'll adjust, though our kitchen runs hot by nature, so a 'mild' request here still has some kick.

Do you take reservations?

Yes. Dinner fills up around sunset, so booking ahead means you won't wait.

Is 2 Bulan good for kids?

We don't have a kids' menu and the room suits a date or a quiet dinner more than a family meal.

Can I sit outside?

Yes, the courtyard has outdoor seating with a view over the rice fields, and there's air conditioning inside if you'd rather stay cool.

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking ahead for larger groups or busy times.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes — we have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. Let us know about any allergies.

Is there parking?

Yes, a free car park and free street parking right by the door.
